There are good possibilities to train for example  walking, snow shoes, cycling, snow mobile, skiing, fishing, rowing, hunting, (please take contact beforehand to order licences).

Ounasvaara is only 9km away. There are downhill skiing possibilities, golf field, Santa Claus sport center where you can exercise sport inside. If it is necessary we rent skis, snowmobile, snowshoes or bicycles.

There are several interesting places to see for example:
Auttiköngäs, Vaattunki, Hiidenkirnut

 Ask for guided tours for example:  wandering/skiing trip in wild forest and we’ll make fire and cook coffee by the open fire and enjoy packed lunch. Snowmobile safaris are especially for you, alone with guide not with a big group.

Hunting programs:

Hare hunting
Straight from the cabins of Ukonloma we can start hunting. 
Morning hound and guide comes to cabin and we can start hunting. During hunting day we make campfire and cook coffee and eat packed lunch. 

Hare hunting week in Oktober price example:
Price ab 900€ for 4persons. Price includes: guides, hounds, provisions, hunting license, accommodation in the cabins of Ukonloma, and 4 hunting days.

Permits: A hunting card and a firearms certificate are required. Partakers must provide us with personal details, a photocopy of their hunting card and a description of the weapons they are carrying no less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the hunting trip

Elk hunting 

Elk hunting for 1-6 persons.

Guided elk hunting is made in the presence of the local hunting club near Rovaniemi.  The hunting is realised in the form of on hound bark. 

Prices ab € 150 per person per day (or as agreed) depending on offers and level of service. The fee for bringing down an elk is € 50. Trophy fee: The price of a horn is € 40 / top tine. Reservation fee.

The price includes: Transport from hotel to hotel (airport), the guides, hounds, provisions, hunting license, the alignment of the weapon(s), a description of the hunting process (English/German) and accommodation in the hunting quarters ( in the middle of hunting area).
